At the table

A CHEF-LED DINING EXPERIENCE

Exmoor Seasonal Dining Experiences offers chef-led dining shaped around a shared table, seasonal menus and a slower pace of hospitality. Each evening is intimate by design, with thoughtful food, generous hosting and a clear sense of occasion.

What chef-led dining feels like

These evenings are designed to feel held rather than hurried. Guests are welcomed to the table, the menu unfolds at a measured pace, and the focus stays where it should: on the food, the company and the atmosphere of the room.

There is structure to the evening, but there is also ease. Courses arrive with time to notice them, conversation is allowed to settle, and the table is given room to breathe.

What to expect

1

On Arrival

Guests are welcomed in, settled, and given a moment to arrive before the evening begins.

2

Shared tables

A small number of guests are seated together for a relaxed, hosted experience.

3

Seasonal menu

Each menu is shaped by the season, the setting and the ideas behind that particular evening.

4

Pace

The evening is designed to move with ease, giving the food and the table time to breathe.

What shapes the menu

Each event is led by season, place and the distinct cooking of Ilona Pettigrew and Dasha Moughton. Some evenings take their cue from wider culinary traditions; others begin closer to home, with Exmoor and the surrounding landscape as their starting point.

What connects them is a serious attention to flavour, generosity and the experience at the table. No two evenings are identical, but the intention remains the same: food that feels thoughtful, grounded and worth gathering for.

Intimate by design

These are small, seated evenings with limited places. The scale is deliberate. It allows for a more personal atmosphere, a more thoughtful pace, and a stronger connection between guests, food and setting.
