Thank you Ilona and Dasha. This was a real treat; the food and drink were truly delicious, especially with your personalised touches. Thank you! I shall definitely come again.
There was a real sense of balance to the evening. Each course had its place, and nothing felt rushed or forced. The cooking was confident, but never showy.
The shared table made it easy to settle in. Conversation flowed, and the pace of the evening felt just right from start to finish.
What stood out was the attention to detail without it ever feeling overdone. From the food itself to the way the evening was hosted, everything felt considered.
It’s the kind of experience that doesn’t need explaining—it just works.
It’s not often you find something that feels both informal and genuinely special. The food was thoughtful and full of flavour, and the whole experience felt quietly well put together.
We stayed longer than expected, which probably says everything.
The food was absolutely beautiful — thoughtful, full of flavour, and clearly made with real care and passion. The Khachapuri were delicious, and the hand-folded pasta in clarified broth was such a memorable dish — elegant, comforting and full of skill.
What made the evening even more special was the shared table. It was so lovely to meet new people, hear their stories, and enjoy such a warm, relaxed atmosphere together.
Ilona & Dasha both run their own successful businesses, but have come together to create Exmoor Seasonal Dining Experiences. The first of the ‘Silk Route Chronicles’ took us on a journey to Caucasus. Shared tables made for a great atmosphere and conversation as each dish was introduced. A welcome drink and a jar of Svaneti salt were just a couple of the thoughtful touches.
A sign of an enjoyable evening is when you book for the next experience in June, most of us did. Be quick if you want travel through East Asia.
